Federal Tax Authority is recruiting for a Head of Large Businesses & Government Affairs. The candidate will be required to improve the level of tax compliance by managing all aspects of relationships with Large Businesses and Government Entities.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Direct the definition, implementation, and management of Large Business and Government Services operational plan.
• Oversee the overall business performance of the department and ensure that all activities are within the overall business and operational tolerances set.
• Develop and implement the Large Business Services compliance strategy.
• Oversee the organisation of the database and contact information of all Large Businesses and Government Entities.
• Establish the criteria for the Large Business department, validate the list of selected businesses and establish a list of Large Businesses and Government Entities.
• Utilise Data Analytics in order to analyse Large Businesses and Government Entities trends, compliance behaviours and main areas of support as well as enhance delivery standards.
• Allocate portfolios of Government Entities to Government Services Team Leads and Senior Analysts.
• Ensure that all large businesses and Government Entities enquiries are handled in a diligent, accurate and timely manner.
• Monitor the improvement of Large Businesses tax compliance on a regular basis, address any compliance with Team Leads and agree on corrective actions to be implemented.
• Manage employee training on key aspects of large business services operations, including registration related topics, customer services and relationships, policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
• UAE National or Arab National ONLY.
• A Minimum of 8 years experience within Client Relationship functions in a Government Entity.
• Bachelor s Degree in a relevant field.
• Preferred Master s Degree, and/or certifications in a relevant field.
• Expertise in Tax Payer Services & Client Relationship Management.
• Proficiency in Excise Tax & VAT.
• Proficiency in Tax Data Analysis.
