Danzas is currently looking for an Industrial Projects Operations Coordinator. This position is a customer facing role working directly with one of our O&G clients.

In this role you will support to the customer in the planning of FCL, LCL, AIR, ROAD and Project shipments and to ensure that all export & clearance operations run efficiently thereby establishing profitable relationships and enabling customer satisfaction. You’ll also monitor and ensure that all customs clearance processes for import operations run efficiently thereby enabling timely deliveries. Based in DWC, you spend your time between our Danzas yard facility and the port.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Stock counts and managing the inventory

   

• Damaged stock record checking

   

• Maintenance/keeping proper records of all customs, incoming and outgoing documents

   

• Managing yard operations (loading and offloading) of OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods).

   

• Tally Clerk activity and & stock keeping

   

• Maintenance of allotted areas as per 5S standards

   

• Maintaining OHR and raising the queries if any KPI deviations

   

• Managing port operations at the time of vessel arrival

   

• Supervising discharge at port and providing handling instructions to port.

   

• Manage transport from port to yard.

   

Role requirements:

• Graduate in any discipline

   

• 2 years relevant experience (freight forwarding industry or oil and gas logistics preferable)

   

• Experience in customer services or logistics coordination

   

• Previous experience of working with Oil Country Tubular Goods

   

• Excellent Communication skills

   

• Proficient in all microsoft applications
