Working as Insurance Risk Manager, you will be Responsible for analyzing the insurance requirements for the company and for its respective assets. Obtaining the appropriate insurance cover for the assets. Liaising and managing policy negotiations with brokers, insurers and internal stakeholders. Reviewing and advising on policy wording. Reviewing and advising on risks associated with contracts. Reviewing third party insurance certificates. Designing and preparing insurance related assessments. Developing and implementing policies, procedures and processes for the insurance function/department. Preparing the annual insurance budget.
Qualification:
Negotiating of policy wording with either or all of the following: insurers, lawyers, brokers and insured parties.
Experience in contract reviews particularly in insurance, indemnification and liabilities sections.
Experience in either or all of the following industries: Theme parks, Construction, Retail & F&B and Hospitality.
Understanding of implications of policy wording how it would uphold in a court of law (arbitration and litigation).
